Three ways your book can be published

Our editors recommend one in the review note; you decide. Nothing is decided, and nothing is paid, until you sign the publishing agreement.

Standard publishingNo charge to the authorFor books we select: we invest in editing, design, ISBN, DOI and marketing, the book is sold as an eBook and/or in print, and you earn a royalty on every sale.
Open AccessFree for everyone to readA publication fee paid by you, your institution or a funder; the book is free to read and download worldwide, and you keep the copyright (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
Author-fundedYour book, on your scheduleA publishing package with a fixed timeline, author copies and sales channels — for books needed by a date, or with more copies and services.

Your proposal

What to send us

  1. Working title and a short description (a page is enough)
  2. Table of contents, with chapter titles
  3. Who the book is for — students, researchers, general readers
  4. Short bio of the author(s) or volume editor(s)
  5. Approximate length, language, and number of figures and tables
  6. The format you have in mind: eBook, print, both, or Open Access
  7. A sample chapter, or the full manuscript if it is ready

Unfinished files are fine for the first review.

Fees

  • No fee to send a proposal or for the manuscript review.
  • Standard publishing — no publication charge; you earn a royalty.
  • Open Access and author-funded books — packages from ₹11,999, or build your own eBook package. See Book Pricing.
  • Language editing on request — copy editing from ₹75 per page.

About GST: no GST is charged on our services at present. If GST becomes applicable under government regulations in future, it will be added at the prevailing rate to invoices raised from that date, and we will tell you before you sign or pay.
